This sketch is an image of an experience I had in 1985 in my college dormitory room at CMU, Central Michigan University located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

I buckled over in pain as this swirling black pillar came toward me very slowly and very silently. I don't recall its departure.

Just an hour before this event, I surprisingly found myself canceling a trip to a concert that I had been planning to go to and was looking forward to for weeks. I was alone in the dorm room as my roomies had left for the concert.

I'm curious to know if anyone else has ever had an event like this.

It occurred at approximately 8 p.m. in a busy dormitory on CMU's campus.
