A chance encounter with an old friend places Dean (Will Smith) in a situation where he is framed for murder by Reynolds (Jon Voight), a senior executive of the National Security Agency, NSA, whose legislative opponent wants to defeat a telecommunications bill which would enable the government to monitor the citizens as well as the criminals.

This movie will substantially increase anyone's paranoia about government. Anyone placing a phone call will think twice about who is listening in. Although aliens or UFOs are never mentioned in the movie, implications abound for monitoring such activity from satellites orbiting 155 miles above the earth's surface. This is a superb movie which everyone must see. The implications for both aliens and abductees seem ominous. Film by Tony Scott for Touchstone Pictures. Rated R.
