Feature Articles: Lt. Col. Philip Corso Dies in Florida

Author of The Day After Roswell

Lt. Col. Philip J. Corso (U.S. Army, retired) died at approximately 11:15 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 16, 1998. He was 83. Corso, who was widely known for his controversial 1997 book, The Day After Roswell, suffered a massive heart attack in early June of this year but made a remarkable recovery.

Corso was at home on July 16 and was said to be feeling fine when he apparently suffered a second heart attack. According to a family source, Lt. Col. Corso died at or enroute to a hospital in Palm Beach, Florida.

AAER ranks Corso's book as a must read book for anyone interested in alien abductions and UFOs. In his book, Corso describes how alien technology was leaked to the private sector in order to disguise its origin. Night vision, laser, and computer chips, are just some of the advances gained from reverse engineered alien technology from the 1947 Roswell crash.
