Regarding the doomsday X-Files episode, it is essentially correct in that we are little more than bystanders in the cosmic sense, and a resource to some. When the Europeans came to the new world, not once did they entertain the thought to ask permission of the indigenous peoples to step ashore, much less, take over the continent.

Ultimately, White Americans did not invite Native Americans to leave their homes and move onto reservations in God forsaken lands, they forced them out with no thought to their wishes or how it would adversely affect their lives. Now, if we possess the capacity to be so dispassionate toward members of our own species, then how can we expect more "humane" treatment from an alien race?

Humanity as we know it, stands on the threshold of tomorrow. The events that unfold in the next two decades and how we react to them will determine mankind's ultimate destiny.

We don't have to be victims. We don't have to become dispossessed from our own free will, but if we are to fall, it will be because we were not prepared, because we were not warned by our leaders, because we were lied to for so many years. That is why, what you and I do now, is so important. Here's hoping and praying that the Sentinels of humanity can awaken us before it is too late.

Marilyn, you just keep on doing what you're doing. You are touching the lives of many people with a most noble cause.
